SHANNON'S YANKALILLA CRUISE
Yankalilla Cruise: 17th November 2013.
As usual, we are working on making this year's Cruise BIGGER & BETTER! This year we are again lucky to have The Lincolns playing, along with The Barstool Philosophers - two fabulous bands - so bring your dancing shoes and dance the day away on our dance floors. There will be lots of fine food available; drinks will be available at the bar.
We will also have a free Bouncy Castle for the children to play on, and we thank the District Council of Yankalilla providing funding so that we can provide the Castle for children's enjoyment.
Helivista will again be providing helicopter flights, so take advantage of their very reasonable prices and enjoy a flight over the beautiful Yankalilla valley.

As in previous years, the Cruise will depart Castle Plaza at 10:00am. Vehicles will travel along South Road, then via the Southern Expressway to Aldinga, through Myponga and on to Yankalilla. The venue for the day is the picturesque Yankalilla Memorial Park Oval. Activities on the oval will start at 10:30am. Please note: there is no need to pre-register your vehicle for the Cruise, just roll up on the day.
Pre-Paid Entry: for all those who intend starting their Cruise to Yankalilla from Castle Plaza, you may pre-pay for entry to the event. Last year Dave and Karen Seddon kindly assisted us in taking payment for pre-paid entry into the Yankalilla Memorial Oval and we are hoping that they will assist us again this year (we will confirm at a later date). If you pre-pay, you will be given a small sticker that will get you fast-tracked into the oval, and it will assist us in clearing South Road and any traffic build up. Karen and Dave will be in the yellow EK Holden. Special thanks to Dave and Karen for helping us out with this last year. Cost of entry is $10 per vehicle. Please ensure that you get to Castle Plaza in plenty of time to purchase your pre-paid entry stickers.
Pre-paid entry stickers will also be available at the Wirrina Dinner Dance on Satuday night (see Billy and Moddy)

Playing on the Bouncy Castle is free for children (children must be accompanied by an adult into the venue*)
Please remember that there will be vehicles moving around the oval precinct during the day, so please make sure that your children are supervised at all times. Drivers, please drive carefully at all times!

As a special treat, Wirrina Resort is holding a dinner dance featuring one of our bands (TBA) on Saturday 16 November (the night before the Cruise). The Rotary Club of Yankalilla also has wonderful barbecue catering facilities. We have a mobile barbecue trailer, complete with fridge and hot/cold water. We are able to provide steak sandwiches, hamburgers, egg and bacon sandwiches, sausages and onions, tea & coffee and soft drinks. We also make wonderful donuts!
